I own a 2007 Yamaha C3 scooter that I bought new on 7may2007.
At 1400 miles I’ve had zero problems.Had my Dealer derestrict the transmission as part of the 600 mile service and she’s consistantly run out to 48mph and has averaged 110-112 mpg.I’ve added a JC Whitney (Maier) windshield, And am trying to find time to install a Stebel airhorn. (SUV Repellant!) And heavy duty (oil filled) rear shock absorber.She starts the first time, every time wheather parked in my garage, or sitting in the sun, And has to be the best money I’ve ever spent. Cheers! Gabe

Yea, not being able to ride it all year cuts ya back on the savings, but you’re still gonna save quite a bit of money if you can only ride it half the year.

i read an article about a man who converted a motorcycle to electric in his garage that got 70miles to the charge… not bad.. and depending on where you got the electricity from to begin with … possibly even cheaper in the long run than purchasing a gas-powered one
