Dealing With High Fuel Prices
Sorry I haven't written in a while. I've been busy...and lazy I guess you could say! Went on vacation and lets just say, high fuel prices suck! Sometimes you just can't take a scooter everywhere and you must drive a car and pay the high price for fuel.
I went on a short trip, maybe 2 hours away from my home for a week. Guess how much I spent on fuel for the drive there, around the small town I went to and back? $100! Can you believe that! I just can't get over how much money it costs for trips that once cost only $20. It's getting out of hand.
It doesn't look like the U.S. automakers are listening to consumers so I don't think we'll see cars getting 50mpg or more coming out any time soon, at least not a lot of the.
All this high gas price talk is great for the motor scooters though. There's no other vehicle that can offer so much for so little. There is one downfall though - Not everyone is the U.S. or Canada can ride a motor scooter all year. The weather, especially in the northern parts of both countries make it hard to ride all year.

Yea, not being able to ride it all year cuts ya back on the savings, but you’re still gonna save quite a bit of money if you can only ride it half the year.
