Scooters Are Cool
Scooters are cool; Sounds like something that you would read on the fender of a motor scooter, doesn't it. The truth is, scooters are cool and are gaining in popularity as gas prices continue to rise. Prior to the high gas prices, SUV's, luxury cars and pickup trucks were the "cool" vehicle to drive and "The Big Three", Ford, GM and Chrysler were banking on sales of lucrative SUV's to continue. But what we're seeing today isn't something that we have seen in a very long time. Drivers are turning their cheek to large, gas guzzling vehicles and are quickly jumping on the small car bandwagon.
Even the humble motor scooter has seen an amazing growth in sales, mainly due to high fuel costs. If you're like most of us, parking your wheels and just avoiding driving is not an option. Public transit is great if it works for you, but for many it just won't work. Motor scooters are now a very viable option for those looking for an economical way to get to work.
